Crossed the border to check out Jason Molina/Magnolia Electric Co. The man's discography is a challenge for every record collector.
I wonder if the songs ever get played by the same people that actually recorded 'em. A zillion different versions and line-ups.
Usually, I can take a lot outfit wise but Molina & Co crossed the line. I hoped the solo songs would deliver, being played by a full band but they didn't.
The guitar player rocked though and they had a Jason Lee lookalike on bass.
Cercueil sucked. DAT Politics was surprisingly good.

Badminton rules. Mountainbiking in multiple Beaufort weather on polder surface isn't.
I can almost always keep my calm but an entire day of sports yesterday didn't keep me from nearly grabbing this German idiot by the throat in a supermarket.

It's been a while, update.

• The Tiny Vipers Ghent show was sweaty and dreamy. Some indie fag called "tweezie" or "tweedy" spilled beer on my pants while holding his cig in a vertical position.Other hipsters sat there listening with their eyes closed. They're either fools or drugged out.

• Tunes recently: The Suicide File, Deftones, Tigers Jaw, Saves The Day, Bat For Lashes, Weezer, Jason Molina.

• Tarantino underachieved with "Inglourious Basterds". Good characters, quotes and dialogues in a messy combination.
  Probably a late pass but I noticed the almighty Google rolled out their movie showtimes functionality to Belgium.

• Trix yesterday. The stage manager/sound guy is incredible. I laughed hard when he lit the hairy War Hungry guitar players cigarette with a flashlight.
  RZL DZL had line-up issues as expected. Played 6 songs or so, not one with a proper ending. People were eating pancakes in the pit.
  War Hungry played about the same amount of songs and featured a mixed bunch of band members and the don hoodrack haircut. The guitar players "belly/face/instrument-first" dive was wild.
  Moshpit was st00pid. Municipal Waste was ok. Fished me a Title Fight longsleeve out of the hoodrack shirt collection, picture proof in TOS#5.
  
  

• New Gmail themes, currently using the "High Score" theme despite its Nintendo feel.
  
  

• Amusing spam mail subjects this week: "clever method for bigger pole", "Monsters in de diepe zee?", "Durable woody in pants" and my favorite "Become her megadriller".
