If you're not feeling Jimmy Eat World, you're a fool.
Pain, love, loss, drugs, Wham/Firestarter covers,... it's all there.
And it's as sweet as it is wrecking.
Jimmy Eat World - Stay On My Side Tonight EP.
Disintegration / Over / Closer

Supermarkets are interesting in many ways. I agree there's a difference between the Aldi and the Delhaize crowd but in general supermarkets hold a small, average selection of our society.
Old, young, rich, poor, dirty, cute, ugly, smelly,... Pretty much every person-describing adjective can be matched to a supermarket visitor.
Here's a short list of things noticed, love and hated in supermarkets (I know):
- Lobsters. I have to make a stop at the lobster tank. Never in my life have I seen somebody buy lobsters in a supermarket. Sometimes I think they're not even real and are plastic fakes, part of an experiment fooling goons like me. Some of them have tiny bubbles rising for their mouths, some don't. Also, I wonder what company produces the shiny elastics wrapped around lobster claws. This seems rather difficult to strap these bands by a machine so there must be a guy doing nothing but that the entire day.
- Stereotyping fellow shoppers. I can't help but secretly staring into other people's shopping baskets and making up stories about their lives. I'm a supermarket profiler: serial killers, happy/crappy singles, millionaires... I'm onto you. Hello prejudice.
- People breathing in your neck, bumping their karreke on your heels, crawling nearly over you when checking out. BACK THE **** OFF!
- "Shit, I forgot my recyclable bag". Watch me stack groceries at the counter because I'm too stubborn to buy a new one.
- Pet food. I'm fascinated, especially cat food. Cat food model must be the most awesome pet job ever. I love the arrogant ones. Cute vs staring straight and not blinking.
- Checkout lanes. Somehow I always succeed in picking the slowest one. I gave up looking for a logical reason behind this phenomenon a while ago. Now I choose the line with the most attractive cashier. Might as well enjoy the wait.

This reminds me I never finished Cashback.

All things ordinary 13:10
This may once again be a late pass but here's a link to Tiny Vipers' Daytrotter session (Time Takes/CM/Slow Motion/Development).

There's a The Get Up Kids session too.
Still siked:
Title Fight @ Che Cafe
Cold World @ Che Cafe
- The Ghent Trash Talk show was insane. Let's say there was electricity in the air.
- In 4 days, I've seen performances in a living room, a casino and a church.
- Winter weather makes for the chillest drives.
- I hate dvddecrypter/imgburn failing at back-upping DVD's.

"duck tape" + STD

Here's a Boston band playing a MLIW cover, hmmzmhmmz.
Awesome Lemur tattoo. More @ http://www.loltatz.com/

Hamster + wheel

Recent Google uppercuts:
Hello, Katy Perry.

An I.T. Christmas tree. Dell drivers and OS cd's, a 3COM hub, a batman logo, a memory module, UTP cable and Windows 2000 disk kit.
Is that a Cisco IP phone in the background by the way?

Here's Natalie Portman between Stella Artois logos.

Trailer for her new film, Brothers.
I've heard good things about the Mad Men series and planned on borrowing the box from the library but this seems too much to handle:

Eyes: Me and you and everyone we know, Paranormal Activity.
DON'T THINK I'M ASLEEP

Recent Google uppercuts:
- Google public DNS: point your DNS servers to 8.8.8.8 + 8.8.4.4 to enhance security, validity and speed of your domain name requests. No OpenDNS reaction so far. Privacy concerns 2009.
- Offline Gmail graduated from Labs.
- The Google Phone (Nexus One) will drop in January. HTC hardware, Android software, no carrier deals.

9-year old scores amazing ice hockey goal. Rumor has it that Emilio Estevez ("Mighty Ducks") was watching the game.

The church of Ra event was impressive. A breathtaking atmosphere and an intense experience.
I doubt I will ever attend a better sludge show.
Afghanistan:

THE PAIN IT IS SHAPELESS.
High-school reunion tonight will suck for sure parce que nous ne sommes pas du même sang.

Edge day + Postsecret =

Virginia vaginas license plate

Hitler in Paris at the Eiffel tower.

Albino hedgehog.
Schwalbe lol (Fanni - France)
Eyes see: Max Payne, District 9, Arrested Development S01.
Ears hear: Decades - Numbered (gotta find out if their 'shelter from the swarm' EP was a vinyl release only, lyrics are promising "My time drips like water and this city is a drain. The streets outside are littered with puddles and everyone I know sleeps when it rains."), The Beach Boys - The very best of, Sinking Ships - Meridian, The Making Of Spring - s/t EP.

Will give Have Heart a spin too. Last show ever today. Last show of the most epic hc tour.

The baddest thing around town 00:59
I will be missing out on (500) days of summer @ the 2009 Ghent film festival.
Pretty stoked for De Helaasheid Der Dingen.
Don't know if I can wait till I get my hands on Californication S02, might watch S01 again.
Z.Deschanel, "nothing you can compare to your neighbourhood whore".

Google Picasa 3.5 features face recognition and works surprisingly well. Attn Mark Zuckerberg.
Eagerly awaiting Google Wave invite.

iPhone 3G - stone comparison. Geek lolz.
A female sea leopard shows signs of frustration by blowing bubbles

"I'm trying to find a way to describe this girl without being disrespectful"
The Tiny Vipers session @ Duyster is amazing.
